Starchman Stars are a type of currency used by the students of Mayview Middle School. Each star is gold, five-pointed, and bears an image of their creator Mr. Starchman on them.
Obtaining Starchman Stars[]
Stars can initially be earned by answering questions in Starchman's English class[1] . In addition, if someone manages to successfully take down Mr. Starchman in the hallway between class periods, they will be rewarded with a few stars[2]. This is not an easy feat, as he will be expecting an attack and wields both roller skates for fast movement and agility and a Nerf gun to shoot down opponents.
Students can also sell information such as rumors or gossip to Lisa at the School Store for stars. Alex mentions that she could probably buy 3 to 4 drinks by exposing Max Puckett as the bus jumper.[3]
Uses[]
The stars can be utilized in a variety of ways, including:
- Exchanging them for prizes in Mr. Starchman's English class[4]
- Betting with other students[5]
- Purchasing a drink from the School Store: The base price of the item allows a student to stare at the drink, and there are additional star charges for sipping, gulping and chugging the beverage. A glass of water with ice costs 1 star, and opening a can of Tab costs 2 stars.
- Purchasing information from Lisa at the School Store[6]
