Pasha Popova is a member of the Paranatural Activity Consortium in Paranatural. She is an "agent first class"[1], and she holds a high position in the organization, although inferior to Texas Walker's.[2] Her usual working team includes Haoran King, Addy Cloverleaf and Proxy Popcorn. She has been recruited in the Deadly Seven squad to fight against Davy Jones. Presumably, she lives in a place on the opposite side of the globe from Mayview.[3]
Appearance[]
Pasha Popova has brown hair with blue eyes and rosy cheeks. Her features have been heavily distorted by the spirit possessing her: her body is rounded, her head is hooded by her clothing, and her arms fold perfectly in the front, resulting in a matryoshka doll-like appearance. When wearing her Consortium uniform, she opts for a blue necktie.

Chapter 4[]
Agent Popova meets Richard Spender inside an elevator in the Dream Hub.[3] She, Agent King and Proxy were knocked unconscious during a tough fight with a spirit armed with beamray eyes. She is the first among her teammates to regain her senses.
Chapter 7[]
In a flashback taking place 2 years before the beginning of the story, she is among the Consortium agents who have been summoned to Mayview to deal with the threat of King Catnine.[2] Agent Walker spits on her accidentally while she is putting back together her matryoshka doll components with the help of Agent Cloverleaf, provoking Pasha to slap him. Agent Day promptly runs to her aid. Later, her nested selves return alongside Cinnamon Stix and Greco Stucks from their encounter with the storm spirit on the summit of the Mayview Barrier.
Chapter 9[]
Agent Popova and her team are summoned by Boss Leader in a dream for a meeting, where they are appointed members of a special squad intended to hunt down Davy Jones. The committee includes Agent Stix and Agent Stucks, and is under Agent Walker's charge; Boss Leader dubs the team "The Deadly Seven".[4]

Pasha Popova is the long-time host for a spirit with the "Nesting Doll" power. She can create increasingly tiny copies of herself by splitting her body open in an upper and a lower half, much like a matryoshka doll.[1] Her nested selves appear distinct and sentient; each of them has a different eye color and a matching necktie, and their voices are more high-pitched the smaller the self is.[5]
Trivia[]
- Pasha "basically died" during the fight mentioned in Chapter 4, but was revived thanks to Proxy Popcorn's abilities.[1]
- According to Addy Cloverleaf's Snake Eyes, Pasha Popova represents the best choice among the members of her team in some capacity.[1]
