Cryptide is the spirit possessing Dave Jones' hook. She is a grudge who was raised by Davy from a young age.
Appearance[]
Cryptide is a large squid like spirit, with a number of tentacles. Her skin has a patchwork design with different shades of gray stitched together, and what looks like a tent making up the top point of it's head. She has a pair of scissors sticking through her body, with the blades taking the place of the beak. They have a single eye with black sclera and a division symbol shaped pupil.

Abilities[]
Cryptide has not been shown using her abilities herself, but Davy has shown the ability to divide people an objects through his hook. It has led to splitting entities into multiple separate ones, like with the great sphinx, or simply cutting inanimate objects.
Trivia[]
- Zack Morrison has confirmed that the little one-eyed figures that can be seen in the sunburst stained glass over the Slanted Manse door and atop an archway of Mayview Academy[1] are stylized representations of Cryptide in her baby form.[2]
