Paranatural[]
Paranatural: Chapter 4[]
On Chapter 4, Page 96, Amy appears in a brief flashback hovering over Isabel with Ángel and Ed after her accident.
After Isabel finishes recounting her version of how she got her tool, Eightfold implies her parents had a role in that, and that she left that part out.
Paranatural: Chapter 7[]
She is seen further in the second flashback in Chapter 7 , that takes place six years prior to the story, where her name is revealed, as well as her occupation as a nurse.[2] She tends to Isabel's alleged bruise, asking her to "tough it out" as she needs to get to work. Upon seeing Isabel glancing to the side at Mr. Spender and Francisco, she chides her ghostly father-in-law while hitting him with a possessed ladle. She admits that she can't see spirits, so she needs him to let Isabel in more on that side of things, as well as treat her better as she admires him.
As Isabel is packing her things for the camping trip, Amy gets reassurance from Spender that it isn't too much trouble and that Isabel would be "safe and edutained" with him.
According to Ángel, she agreed with his decision to gift the book possessed by Eightfold to Isabel.[3]

Relationships[]
Family[]
- Isabel Guerra - Amy is Isabel's mother. While she cares deeply for her, she finds it difficult to find the time to attend to Isabel's needs due to her nursing job, and as a non-spectral, her inability to see the spirit world makes it hard for her to understand Isabel's experiences[4].
- Ángel Guerra - Isabel's parents were once married, but they divorced long ago[5]. Francisco implies they had already broken up over six years ago.[6]
- Francisco Guerra - Francisco Guerra still considers Amy his daughter even Ángel left her. He's convinced that Amy needs to quit her job to be a better parent for Isabel, and he would be willing to let take her in at the dojo and covering her expenses, were she to do so.
Friends[]
- Peter Puckett - Peter and Amy knew each other in their youth, from before the Pucketts moved to Baxborough. They met again only thirteen years later.[7]

Trivia[]
- According to a comment from Zack Morrison, Isabel Guerra's mother is Chinese and her father is Hispanic, making Isabel's ethnicity "really the only plot-relevant ethnicity in the comic".
- Her job's schedule is quite taxing, with a 5 day work week and lunch break at 4 in the morning.[8]
